Abstract

A member of the 2nd Iowa Cavalry Regt. writes to a female acquaintance in Wapello, IA from LaGrange, TN. He briefly describes scouting activities in Tennessee. He and several men in the regiment had recently worn Confederate uniforms to scout among the enemy.
